FABULOUS BAR-V VINTAGE FIND!
Add an element of old-school awesomeness to your home, office, she-shed – wherever! This handmade piece comes from the home of 96-year-old former Western rodeo horse trick rider Jean Vanderlyn of New Paltz, NY. Her father owned the Bar V Ranch in Ohioville, NY. He taught her to ride, they both tooled leather, he was a metalsmith and made many of the items in the home, including furniture, lanterns, lamps, etc., many with their Bar V logo. The sturdy wooden frame is hand-crafted and features a unique pullout-drawer in the base with tasseled concho pulls. The sides are adorned with tooled leather patches featuring florals and their signature Bar V brand. An incredible collector’s piece and definitely a conversation starter!
